Safety & Security

Security is an important part of your experience and your child's experience in Discovery Town. Security for your child is implemented through our "Check-in" kiosks and through screening all of our volunteers.

All children, infants through 5th grade, will need to visit one of our computer stations to get checked into their class and get their tags.
The computer will print one security tag for the entire family, which the parents will take with them and then present to the teacher when they pick up their children. It will also print individual nametags for the kids, as well as, asset tags for diaper bags, bottles, etc. Children birth - 2's years will be assigned a vibrating pager. The pager number will print on their nametags.

Each child is required to be escorted by a parent or guardian to their class and must be picked up by a parent/guardian who will present the "security tag" to the teacher. .

Guests and those needing to update their contact information need to visit the Discovery Town Info Center in the Planter Area of the church.
